		PRODIGY, ca. 1937. WPA stamp. Signed and titled in pencil. NYPL 99. 14 of his prints are in the WPA collection of the NYPL print room. Barlow was especially talented at capturing the emotions of his subjects, in this case the great enthusiasm of a doting family for its youngest member: would she become the next Dame Myra Hess?
