	Frank Besedick   (20th century)
		CONFUSION, ca. 1937. Signed and titled in pencil. This is a WPA print, and the impression at the Library of Congress bears the stamp. The LC holds five Besedick etchings and one lithograph, and the NY Public Library print collection has eight of his etchings. The Univ. of Michigan has a WPA lithograph. Many of Besedick's etchings were inspired by 17th century Dutch sensibilities, as is this one with its touchingly run-down shack. A crisp impression in very fine condition.
