		MERRY-GO-ROUND, ca. 1937. Signed in the plate. This is number 253 on the NYPL-WPA list, but it is not stamped. One was shown at the NY Public Library in their 2004 WPA exhibition. This is a brilliant impression with some very pale foxing verso, otherwise in very fine condition. The joyous abandon of the people is reminiscent of early Dutch prints.
