| FISHERMEN'S COVE, GLASCO, NEW YORK, 1937. Ed. 1/25. Signed, titled, numbered, and dated in pencil. Blankmeyer was in the WPA art program and worked in the Woodstock area. Glasco is a small town on the Hudson River, east of Woodstock. During and after WWII Blankmeyer headed the art program for the Chicago public schools, and retired to Toledo, Ohio, in the 1960s. This print is a fine impresssion in excellent condition. |
